The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

The bad: The school is inflexible with allowing students (many of whom are here on holiday) to skip weeks or extend weeks based on their individual needs. The reason: "that's just the rule." When I asked the office worker if the rule benefited the student or the school, he said "the school." As if this was an exceptable answer. It isn't. The school forgets that we are paying customers. Whether or not you want to believe it, I can take my money elsewhere in the future, and my recommendations to other people looking for intensive german learning will go with me.

To be blunt: If a rule does not benefit the student and won't result in chaos if it is not followed, it shouldn't be forced on the students. In other words if nothing bad is going to happen if the rule is not followed, than don't follow it!

The good: the teachers I had were excellent. Their focus on grammar and speech really filled a hole in my past learning.

Your recommendations for other students

Don't buy more than a week at a time. That way you get to decide, and not the school's arbitrary rules, whether or not you are going to skip a week.
